Cranacha (Maxi Biewer)

The perfect cranacha (maxi biewer) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Cranacha

  • 500 g Raspberries
  • 250 ml Cream
  • 3 tbsp Oatmeal
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 80 ml Whiskey
  • 4 piece Raspberries
  • 4 sheet Mint

Cranacha

  1. Lightly toast the oat flakes with the butter in a pan over low heat while stirring, then allow to cool well. Mix the honey with the whiskey. In a bowl, whip the well-chilled cream until stiff and fold in the honey-whiskey mixture and 2 tablespoons of roasted oat flakes. Layer the raspberries and cream mixture alternately in four tall dessert glasses, whereby the last layer should be cream. Chill for about 1 hour, the longer the better. Finally, decorate with 1 tablespoon of roasted oat flakes and place a raspberry on each. Garnish with a leaf of mint to taste and serve.
