self-invented, after a cream bread that I ate at a Christmas market
Preheat the oven to 240°C. Dissolve the yeast in the water. Mix the salt and flour, then add the water and yeast and form a smooth dough. Add a little more flour if necessary. Cover and let it rise in a warm place until the dough has doubled in size. This takes about 25 minutes. Finely chop the orange zest and garlic and add to the crème fraîche. Mix the crème fraîche with the remaining spices and season to taste. There are no limits to the freedom here; you can use any spices you like. Divide the dough into two equal pieces. Flatten each piece like a small, thick pizza. Make small indentations with your fingers, spread the crème fraîche on top, and sprinkle the ham cubes on top (vegetarians can also make this without the ham). Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until it begins to brown. Serve warm.
