Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 packs of dough (dumpling dough), from the refrigerated section
  • 5 eggs
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 3 cups sour cream
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla, for cooking
  • 150 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Grandma’s recipe

For the base, combine the dumpling mixture with one egg and the sour cream. Spread it evenly on a greased, high-sided baking sheet. Separate 4 eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the egg yolks, sour cream, pudding mix, and sugar, and fold in the egg whites. Pour the glaze over the dumpling mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 45 minutes. Enjoy with applesauce or blueberries.
