Cream semolina with fried bananas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 160 g semolina (soft wheat)
  • 125 g sugar
  • ¼ liter cream
  • 20 g butter
  • 4 bananas
  • Jelly (blackcurrant)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring to a boil with salt, sprinkle in the semolina, and simmer for 5 minutes, then add sugar. Mix the lukewarm porridge with the whipped cream and then pour onto a platter or large plate. Halve the bananas lengthwise, fry in butter until golden brown, place on the semolina, and garnish with currant jelly.
