Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g quark
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • Plum(s), for filling (approx. 10 pieces)
  • Salt
  • butter
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Blend all ingredients into a firm paste. Form regular-sized dumplings and place a fresh, pitted plum into each one. Cook in boiling salted water for 10 minutes, until the dumplings float to the surface. Serve with brown butter, sugar, and cinnamon.
