Creamed potatoes with ham

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g jacket potatoes from the previous day, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp onion(s), diced
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tbsp, heaped flour
  • 300 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 shot of dry white wine
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • Café de Paris spice mix
  • 3 slices of cooked ham
  • some parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat the butter and sauté the diced onion briefly. Add the flour and sauté briefly. Gradually add the vegetable stock, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Stir in the cream and wine, add the bay leaf, and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste with the spice mix. Cut the cooked ham into strips or pieces. Add the potatoes and ham to the sauce and heat through. Stir in the parsley or sprinkle it on the plate.
