Creamed savoy cabbage with ham

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg savoy cabbage
  • 125 g cooked ham, diced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • ⅛ liter cream
  • ⅛ liter of water
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 1 bunch of parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Trim, wash, and quarter the savoy cabbage. Brown the ham in oil in a pan. Sauté the diced onion until translucent. Add the savoy cabbage quarters. Top with cream and 1/8 liter of water. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.
