Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • 200 g confectionery (Kinder Schokobons)
  • 10 sweets (Kinder chocolate bonbons), small chopped
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp sugar, or vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

with or without ice cream maker

Melt the chocolate bonbons in a saucepan over low heat and let cool slightly. Beat the egg and egg yolks with the sugar until frothy, then fold in the cooled chocolate bonbon mixture. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and fold into the chocolate bonbon egg mixture. Place the ice cream mixture in an ice cream maker or freezer container for 45 minutes. If using a freezer container, you’ll need to stir occasionally to ensure the ice cream is nice and creamy. The chilling time is 2 hours. Finally, just before the ice cream mixture sets, fold in the finely chopped chocolate bonbons.
