Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g walnut kernels
- 250 g flour
- 125 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 cl rum
- 200 g butter
- Sugar mixed with vanilla sugar

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 36 minutes
Christmas cookies
Grate the walnuts. Knead all ingredients except the sugar and vanilla sugar mixture into a shortcrust pastry. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Shape the dough into croissants and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 6 minutes, then roll them in the sugar mixture while still warm, then let them cool. Store the soft cookies in a metal tin.
