Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slices of baguette
- 1 clove(s) garlic, halved
- 2 figs, halved, cut into 12 slices
- 150 g cheese (Taleggio, Italian soft cheese) rindless, sliced
- 4 tsp mustard (fig mustard)
- 4 halved walnuts
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Toast the baguette slices on both sides under the broiler. Halve the garlic and rub the cut side of the bread slices with the garlic. Top each baguette slice with 3 fig slices. Arrange the cheese slices on top. Place the crostini under the broiler until the cheese begins to melt. Top each with 1 teaspoon of fig mustard and a walnut half and serve immediately.
