Crunchy oatmeal cookies

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 180 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 150 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Lemon flavoring + rum flavoring to taste, 125 g crispy oat flakes (from Kölln)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Tastes good at Christmas time, but also at other times of the year.

Cream together softened butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Combine the oats, ground hazelnuts, baking powder, and flavoring and stir well into the remaining ingredients. Finally, stir in the oat flakes. Place small mounds on a baking sheet and bake at 180°C for approximately 12-15 minutes.
