Cucumber Lemonade with Gin

Ingredients
 

  • 1 Pc. Cucumber
  • 25 g Sugar
  • Salt
  • 75 g Sugar syrup
  • 75 ml Lime juice
  • Gin
  • Soda water

Instructions
 

  • Peel the cucumber, save a few pods. Cut the cucumber into slices. Mix the cucumber slices with sugar and a pinch of salt and let it steep for at least half an hour. Place the cucumber on a sieve and collect the cucumber juice that has formed. Put the cucumber slices with the skins in a blender and chop. Put on a sieve, collect the juice and mix with the juice already obtained. Mix the cucumber juice in a carafe with the sugar syrup and lime juice. Top up with mineral water.
  • Serve on ice or fill into screw-top bottles and refrigerate. Pour gin into a long drink glass to taste and fill up with the lemonade. Add ice cubes and garnish with mint or lemon balm and cucumber slice.
