Cucumber salad without mayonnaise

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 4 cucumbers
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • some vinegar
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • some sweetener, liquid
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 10 minutes

Peel the cucumbers and slice them thinly. Sprinkle with salt. Cover and let stand for at least 4 hours. Then strain the juice and season with vinegar, oil, pepper, sweetener, finely chopped onion, and salt to taste. Let stand again. Don’t oversweet the salad.
