Curry pineapple and vanilla ice cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ¼ pineapple, fresh
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp curry, mild
  • 4 scoops of ice cream (vanilla)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Oriental

Prepare the finely chopped pineapple pieces. Combine the butter, honey, sugar, and curry powder in a pan and heat everything. As soon as the mixture begins to caramelize, caramelize the pineapple pieces evenly on all sides over a moderate heat. Don’t let the mixture get too dark. A golden brown tone is just right. Divide the vanilla ice cream into portions. Place the slightly cooled pineapple pieces next to the ice cream. Spoon the curry-caramel mixture over the ice cream. The amounts can be adjusted to taste, and of course, any other type of ice cream can be used.
