Curry Rice with Roasted Pork

The perfect curry rice with roasted pork recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Long grain rice
  • Salt
  • 400 g Pork loin
  • 0,5 tsp Painted ginger
  • 1 Msp Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 400 g Green cabbage leaves
  • 75 ml Oil
  • 1 tbsp Cardamom seeds
  • 2 tbsp Curry powder
  1. Prepare the long grain rice according to the instructions on the packet and then set it aside
  2. Clean the pork, pat dry and cut into fine strips. Make a marinade from ginger, cayenn pepper and honey and marinate the meat for 10 minutes. Cut the cabbage leaves into 4 cm diamonds.
  3. Heat 50 ml oil in a wok and lightly toast the cabbage leaves together with the cardamom seeds. Dust with the curry powder, mix in the cooked rice and remove.
  4. Sear the pork strips in the remaining oil, add the rice again and mix everything well.
  5. P.S. Instead of the cabbage leaves I took mixed vegetables e.g. the frozen vegetables “Asia”
