Curry Rice with Roasted Pork
The perfect curry rice with roasted pork recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Long grain rice
- Salt
- 400 g Pork loin
- 0,5 tsp Painted ginger
- 1 Msp Cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 400 g Green cabbage leaves
- 75 ml Oil
- 1 tbsp Cardamom seeds
- 2 tbsp Curry powder
- Prepare the long grain rice according to the instructions on the packet and then set it aside
- Clean the pork, pat dry and cut into fine strips. Make a marinade from ginger, cayenn pepper and honey and marinate the meat for 10 minutes. Cut the cabbage leaves into 4 cm diamonds.
- Heat 50 ml oil in a wok and lightly toast the cabbage leaves together with the cardamom seeds. Dust with the curry powder, mix in the cooked rice and remove.
- Sear the pork strips in the remaining oil, add the rice again and mix everything well.
- P.S. Instead of the cabbage leaves I took mixed vegetables e.g. the frozen vegetables “Asia”
