Curry sauce "Giggel"

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • celery
  • 2 apples
  • 500 ml juice (apple-pear)
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

for delicious currywurst

Roughly chop the tomatoes, onions, carrots, celery, and apples and sauté in oil. Deglaze with apple and pear juice and simmer uncovered for about half an hour. First, pass the sauce through a food mill, then finely chop again with an immersion blender. Season to taste with curry, salt, pepper, and honey.
