Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g herring fillet(s) (Swedish herring bites) according to my recipe, see database
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 medium onion(s), very finely diced
  • 1 tomato(s) without skin and seeds
  • 200 ml cream, whipped
  • 150 g mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp curry
  • salt and pepper
  • some sugar, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mix the mayonnaise with the eggs, onion, tomato, and curry powder, then fold in the whipped cream and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Finally, add the drained herring pieces. Since curry is a spice blend that tastes different depending on the manufacturer (or if you make it yourself), the amount of curry depends on your taste. You can add more or less.
