Czech Fire Bean Potato Soup

Ingredients
 

  • 300 g Fire beans
  • 300 g Potatoes
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth (2 teaspoons instant)
  • 125 g Cooking cream (½ cup)
  • 1 big pinch of salt
  • 1 big pinch of pepper
  • 1 big pinch of sugar
  • 1 big pinch of nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Wash and clean the firebeans, cut into pieces approx. 2 cm long, boil in salted water (1 teaspoon) for approx. 5 - 6 minutes and drain through a kitchen sieve. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes, boil in salted water (1 teaspoon 9 for approx. 12 - 15 minutes and drain through a kitchen sieve. Put the firebeans in a saucepan, pour in the vegetable stock (500 ml) and the cooking cream (125 g) and heat briefly Add the potatoes and season with salt (1 big pinch), pepper (1 big pinch), sugar (1 big pinch) and nutmeg (1 big pinch), heat briefly and serve hot.
