Dandelion juice

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 dandelion flowers
  • 1 ½ liters of water
  • 2 tbsp sugar, if desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Briefly wash the dandelion blossoms. Place the dandelion blossoms in a pot with water, bring to a boil, and simmer gently for about 2 minutes. While still hot, pass the blossoms through a food mill with the water. Filter the juice through a cheesecloth, add sugar if desired, and bring to a brief boil again. While still hot, pour into clean bottles.
