Daphne's Sylt pasta salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (Spirelli, Trulli or similar)
  • 2 m.-large carrot(s)
  • some sugar
  • some salt
  • 100 g peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 eggs, boiled
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 200 g roast pork (cuts)
  • 250 ml dressing (Sylter style salad dressing)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 38 minutes

without mayonnaise, is quick to make and tastes wonderfully fresh!

Cook pasta in salted water until al dente and let cool. Peel and dice the carrots, then cook in sugar and salted water until al dente. Add the peas one to two minutes before the end of the cooking time and cook. Peel the bell peppers and dice them along with the roast pork (alternatively, smoked chicken breast, or boiled ham also taste good). Combine all prepared ingredients in a large bowl with the salad dressing and then garnish with the quartered eggs.
