Dates in Oatmeal Peanut Coating

- 10 piece Pitted dates
- 10 piece Whole peeled almonds
- 1,5 Cup Instant oatmeal
- 0,333333 Cup Peanut butter
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Lukewarm water
- 200 g Dark couverture
- 50 g Chopped hazelnuts
- Core the dates, stick a whole almond in each date and freeze until the date is really hard.
- Finely chop the oatmeal in the food processor. Add the peanut butter, maple syrup and water and work into a dough.
- Cover the frozen dates completely with the batter and refreeze.
- Melt the couverture and prepare the chopped hazelnuts.
- Now dip half of each date wrapped in batter into the melted chocolate and then immediately into the chopped hazelnuts.
- Keep in the refrigerator until ready to be eaten.
