Dates in port wine

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g dates
  • 200 g cheese (Roquefort)
  • 250g bacon
  • 50 ml port wine, approx.
  • 1 tbsp cream, possibly 2 tbsp

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pit the dates and fill them with the Roquefort cheese, which has been whipped with cream until creamy. Wrap each date in a slice of bacon and secure each one with a toothpick. Place under the preheated grill for 4 minutes. Tip: all toothpicks should be facing left, for example. After this time, turn the dates over (it’s quick and easy; all the toothpicks should now be facing the other side). Pour the port wine over them (don’t be too stingy here, you won’t regret it) and place under the grill for another 4 minutes.
