Deep-fried chicken thighs, salted

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • ½ liter oil or frying fat
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

(Thai style)

It’s best to cover fresh (not frozen) chicken legs with salt. Heat the oil (we always do this in a pot, but a deep fryer would probably work too), add the chicken legs, and brown them. The oil should be as hot as possible – so be careful! That’s it – done! Serve with potatoes (e.g., mashed potatoes) and/or other side dishes – it tastes fantastic!
