Dessert: Fruity Mulled Wine Quark
The perfect dessert: fruity mulled wine quark recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Quark half-fat
- 100 ml Cream 30% fat
- 2 tablespoon Mulled wine jelly from my KB http://www./rezept/451618/Vorrat-Gluehweingelee.html
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 cl Lemon or lime juice
- 2 piece Oranges
- 2 piece Kiwi fresh
- 3 leaf Gelatin white
- Peel, quarter and slice the kiwi and heat briefly in a saucepan. This destroys the enzymes that destroy the milk protein from the quark and make it bitter.
- Peel and fillet an orange, collecting the juice. Halve the fillets and add to the cooled kiwi.
- Soak the gelatine in a little cold water, let it swell and squeeze out.
- Whip the cream and mix with the quark, sugar, lemon juice and the mulled wine jelly.
- Dissolve the gelatine and add half to the fruit and the other half to the quark cream.
- Now fill some of the quark cream into dessert bowls or glasses. Pour the fruit mixture on top and let it solidify in the refrigerator. Then add the second layer of quark.
- Wash the second orange with hot water and cut very thin slices. Cut into these and twist them into cups. Pour some mulled wine jelly into this and garnish with a chocolate heart.
- I squeezed and drank the rest of the orange. 😉
