Dessert: Rhubarb Buttermilk with Strawberries

The perfect dessert: rhubarb buttermilk with strawberries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 ml Buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoon Rhubarb jam
  • 1 teaspoon Dandelion honey or other sweet
  • 3 leaf Gelatin white
  • 7 piece Fresh strawberries
  1. Soak the gelatine in a little cold water, let it swell and squeeze out. Let it melt over a low flame.
  2. Mix the buttermilk with the jam and honey, mix two tablespoons of it with the liquid gelatine and add this mixture to the rest of the buttermilk and mix well.
  3. Pour some of the buttermilk into portion glasses and let it set in the refrigerator.
  4. Clean the strawberries – except for three pieces – and cut into small cubes. Spread this on the buttermilk cream and cover with the rest of the cream, then chill again.
  5. Before serving, decorate with a strawberry and possibly with a little chocolate sauce.
