Detox water with lemon, ginger and honey

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 large lemon(s)
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, fresh, approx. 2 cm
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 ½ liters of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 7 minutes

Roughly peel the lemon with a knife, halve it lengthwise, and then slice it. Peel the ginger with a spoon and chop it finely. Heat 1.5 liters of water in a kettle and have a lidded pot ready. Add the ginger to the pot and pour the hot water over it. Once the water has cooled slightly, add the lemon slices to the pot to preserve the vitamins. Add the honey and stir. Then put the lid on and let it steep. Tips: I like to let the detox water steep overnight and bottle it the next day. If you like, you can add mint and/or cucumber to the detox water.
