Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 ml vodka
  • 1,500 g strawberries, frozen
  • 300 ml water
  • 200 g sugar
  • 100 ml lemon juice or lemon concentrate

Homemade strawberry liqueur – spices up any party

First, let the frozen strawberries thaw briefly (be careful not to let them thaw completely, as this will change the consistency of the liqueur). Then, finely puree the strawberries with a hand blender. Pour 300 ml of water into a saucepan and heat it. Dissolve the 200 g of sugar in the warm water. First, add the cooled sugar water and the entire contents of a 0.75 l bottle of vodka to the pureed strawberries. Stir everything gently. Finally, season the liqueur with a little lemon juice. This recipe yields approximately 2-3 liters of delicious XuXu. It can be enjoyed from a shot glass or as a long drink or cocktail.
