Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g onion(s)
- 1 tbsp, heaped honey
- 1 tbsp dill
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Onion salad with dill and honey
Peel the onions and then slice them into thin strips. Mix the strips well with the remaining ingredients and season briefly to taste. The flavor should be slightly sweet with a subtle hint of salt. Refrigerate the salad for about 30 minutes. Toss again before serving. The onions are delicious as a salad with a barbecue in the summer and as a side dish for raclette in the winter.
