Drumsticks with pasta

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled (800 g)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pack of spaghetti
  • 30 g butter, salted
  • 125 ml oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 250 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Rub the drumsticks with oil, pepper, oregano, salt, garlic powder, and paprika. Place them in a baking dish with the quartered onions, chopped garlic, and about 60 ml of water and place in the oven for 10 minutes. Place the canned tomatoes in a bowl with the sugar and crush the tomatoes. Set aside. Turn the drumsticks over and place them in the oven for another 10 minutes, adding another 60 ml of water if necessary. Remove the baking dish and set the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Pour the tomato sauce into the baking dish and place the dish in the oven for another 30 minutes. Turn the drumsticks over and add another 60 ml of water. Place in the oven for another 20 minutes. Remove the drumsticks, place them on a plate, and cover. Add the salted butter and about 120 ml of water to the sauce and wait until the sauce is gently simmering. Now add the spaghetti to the boiling sauce, stir, and cook for about 25-30 minutes. Gradually add a little more water. When the pasta is cooked, add the drumsticks and let everything cook in the oven for a few more minutes.
