Christmas cookie recipe from mom, makes about 50 cookies.
Knead the ingredients into a dough and refrigerate. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3 mm, cut out shapes, and bake in the center of the oven for about 8 minutes. The cookies should not be too brown. Let cool. Make a cream from butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and rum flavoring. If using sweetened cocoa powder, reduce the sugar accordingly. Spread half of the cookies with this mixture and place the other half on top. Place side by side on a wire rack and decorate with chocolate glaze.
