- 1 can condensed milk, sweetened

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 5 minutes
Milk jam
Remove the paper from the tin. Fill a pot 3/4 full with water and bring to a boil. Let the unopened can simmer gently in the pot for about 2 to 3 hours. Allow to cool thoroughly after cooking. The longer you simmer it, the darker and thicker the jam will become. This jam can be used as a spread, as a filling for roulades, and in many other dishes.
