simple and delicious

First, form small balls (about 2 cm in diameter) from the dumpling dough and boil them in lightly salted water until they rise to the top. Then remove them and place the balls on a plate to rest. You can now preheat the oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat). Meanwhile, peel the onions and garlic and chop them finely. Then fry the minced meat together with the onions and garlic in a pan until crumbly. Add salt and pepper to taste. Now lightly grease a baking dish with the butter. First, add a layer of the minced meat mixture to the baking dish, then the small dumplings, and then another layer of minced meat. Spread the cream evenly over them. Finally, cover everything with grated cheese. Place the dish on the middle rack of the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Tip: Instead of the fresh dumplings, you can of course also use dumplings from the day before and cut them into slices.
