Dumplings Casserole
The perfect dumplings casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 packet Dumpling dough
- 150 g Diced ham
- 150 Milliliters Sweet cream
- 100 Milliliters Milk
- 250 g Sour cream
- 2 tablespoon Roasted onions
- 1,5 piece Iceberg lettuce fresh
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg
- Shape the dumpling into about 20-22 small dumplings (I always make the dumpling dough myself) and cook in a little salted water for 15 minutes. Cut the iceberg lettuce into strips and place in a baking dish. Then distribute the dumplings on top. Mix the cream, milk and sour cream into a sauce and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour this sauce over the dumplings and the salad, bake in the oven at 200 ° C for 25 minutes. Fry the fried onions with the ham. After the first 25 minutes of baking time, these are spread over the casserole, which then remains in the oven at 200 ° C for another 20 minutes. The casserole can also be made with spinach instead of iceberg lettuce or the sour cream can be replaced with sour cream.
