Salad: Romaine Lettuce – Rolls

Ingredients
 

For the rolls

  • 1 Mini romaine lettuce
  • 100 g Spiced Thuringian Mett
  • 20 g Cooked rice
  • 4 Bacon slices
  • Clarified butter

For the sauce

  • 25 g Kat ham finely diced
  • 1 Diced shallot
  • 250 ml Water
  • 1 packet Gravy (dry powder)
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Remove the leaves from the lettuce, wash and drain. Mix the ground meat with the rice.
  • Place two lettuce leaves on top of each other and place a tablespoon full of the minced meat mixture on top. Roll up tightly and wrap with a slice of bacon.
  • For the tomato sauce, sweat the onion cubes in the oil, briefly fry the ham in it and stir in the tomato paste. Deglaze with the water, stir in the gravy and bring to the boil. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika and let it steep at a moderate temperature.
  • Sear the rolls in clarified butter on all sides, place in the sauce and simmer gently in the sauce for five minutes.
  • There was also fried thyme potatoes
