Easter chocolate brownies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 185 g butter
  • 185 g chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 240 g sugar or coconut blossom sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 90 g spelt flour, optionally replace some with coconut flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 160 g chocolate e.g. Easter bunnies, Santa Clauses, chocolate eggs etc.
  • Chocolate shavings, optional, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Using leftover Easter or Christmas chocolate

Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan-assisted). Melt the butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, then let cool briefly. Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy, then stir in the chocolate-butter mixture. Combine the flour and cocoa powder and sift over the mixture. Roughly chop the chocolate bunnies, Santas, chocolate eggs, etc., and fold into the batter. Pour the batter into a baking frame, brownie pan, springform pan, etc., smoothing it down if necessary, and place in the oven for 35-45 minutes. Sprinkle the finished brownies with chocolate shavings, if desired.
