Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g frozen edamame (green soybeans)
  • Salt, granulated or soy sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Japanese snack

Boil the frozen green soybeans in their shells in hot water for 5 minutes. Then drain and rinse with hot water. Place the soybeans in a bowl and sprinkle with salt grains or drizzle with soy sauce. The beans are eaten shelled: simply bite into the shell, and the beans will almost fall off. Tastes best hot, but can also be served cold. A cold beer goes perfectly with this dish!
