Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 10 eggs
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 1 jar Miracle Whip
  • 1 jar celery
  • lots of chives, cut into fine rolls
  • some salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

First, hard-boil the eggs, peel them, and let them cool. Then layer the ingredients in a bowl as follows: Salt the egg slices and brush them with Miracle Whip. Then add a layer of tomato slices, season with salt and pepper, top with plenty of chives, and then spread a thin layer of celery salad on top. Repeat this process as often as you like. The salad can be prepared the day before. It looks particularly good in a simple glass bowl. This makes a medium-sized bowlful. If you eat the salad as a side dish, for example, with grilled meat, it will serve about 6-8 people.
