Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 250 g bacon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • nutmeg
  • Fat

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and grate the potatoes, then squeeze out the water. Stir all ingredients, except the bacon, into the potato mixture and season to taste. Grease the pot. Cover the bottom with bacon. Layer the potato mixture and bacon in layers. The potato mixture should be on top. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 2 hours.
