Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg flour
  • 40 g yeast
  • 600 ml milk or buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 14 g elderflower umbels
  • 2 lemon(s), zest

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Combine flour, lemon zest, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Dissolve yeast in milk/buttermilk and chop elderflower blossoms. Knead everything in a bowl until a dough forms. Let rise for about 1 hour. Shape into a loaf and bake at 200°C for 45 minutes.
