Rinse the elderflower blossoms very carefully and place them in a large container with water and citric acid. A stone pot is best, but a regular pot will do in a pinch. Let everything steep for 24 hours. Strain several times. Heat the juice, but do not boil. While heating, gradually add the sugar and dissolve it. Let it cool. Then add the granulated sugar, refill the bottles, and seal tightly.
