Energy Balls with Beetroot

The perfect energy balls with beetroot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Almonds
  • 50 g Dates dried, pitted
  • 50 g Figs dried
  • 20 g Oatmeal
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice fresh
  • 1 tsp Zest of organic orange
  • 1 pinch Salt from the mill
  • 5 tbsp Beetroot latte powder, e.g. from Sonnentor
  1. Put the almonds in a strong mixer, I use the Bianco Puro, mince with repeated pulses or mix. Add the dried fruits and oat flakes, orange zest and juice and salt and use the mixer to make a homogeneous mass.
  2. Pour into a bowl and roll small balls about 2 cm in diameter. Put the beetroot latte on a plate, roll the balls in it. Let it soak in the refrigerator for a few hours in a Tupperware or something similar. Then they are ready to be eaten. The refrigerator is the right place to keep it.
  3. It’s a good, sweet snack that doesn’t have any refined sugar added. In my case, the powder for the Beetroot Latte is from Sonnentor, it is sugar-free and also tastes very good as a drink.
