English peas with mint

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g peas, frozen
  • 1 handful of mint, preferably pineapple mint
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper, mixed, freshly ground
  • 2 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the peas in a little water or in a steamer until al dente. Melt the butter in a pan or wok. Add the spices. Finely chop the mint. Add the peas and mint to the butter and toss briefly for a few minutes. Best served with delicate curries or rice.
