Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 2 slices of toast
  • 4 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 250 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 4 m.-sized carrot(s)
  • 3 onions
  • salt and pepper
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

First, hard-boil the four eggs, peel them, and let them cool. Meanwhile, clean and finely chop the mushrooms. Grate the carrots (chopped ones are also finely chopped) and cut the bread into small pieces. Now chop the onion. Mix the minced meat, onions, carrots, bread, mushrooms, egg, and seasoning into a smooth batter. Pour half of the batter into a loaf pan and only then press the four eggs into the center. Spread the rest of the batter into the pan and press it down firmly (!). Bake for about one hour at 180-200 degrees Celsius (convection oven).
