- 4 slices of cheese
- 8 slices of ham
- 1 onion(s), cut into fine rings
- 4 Pepper, hot or mild, without stems

- 200 g breadcrumbs
- 1 cup cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 garlic cloves
- 200 ml oil for frying
- 4 tomatoes
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
breaded toast
Place 4 slices of toast on top, layer the cheese, onion rings, ham, and pepperoni, then place a second slice of toast on top. Beat an egg with salt and coat the toast on both sides in egg, then in breadcrumbs, and deep-fry until golden brown. I always use deep-frying oil because you can work at a higher temperature and the toast doesn’t absorb as much liquid. Pat dry with kitchen paper. Season the cream with salt and crushed garlic. Arrange lettuce leaves (like bowls) on plates and fill with the sauce. Place the toast next to the bread. Garnish with tomato wedges.
