Chickpea balls
Soak the chickpeas for at least 12 hours, drain, and rinse. Soak the bread, squeeze out excess moisture, and blend with the chickpeas in a blender until a paste forms. Add all the spices, mix, and season to taste. Finally, add the bulgur (alternatively, use 3 tablespoons of flour per 50g of bulgur) and baking powder and knead well. Form into small, walnut-sized balls and fry in deep-frying oil until golden brown. Serve with salad and tahini (sesame sauce).
