Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg strawberries
  • 160 g powdered sugar
  • 200 g whole milk yogurt
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 6 tbsp orange liqueur
  • 400 g ladyfingers or amaretti biscuits

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Wash the strawberries (if necessary) and pat dry. Dice about half of the strawberries and place them in a bowl with the lemon juice, 60g of powdered sugar, and 4 tablespoons of orange liqueur. Blend using a hand blender. Slice the remaining strawberries and set aside. Using a mixer, beat the mascarpone, yogurt, the remaining powdered sugar, and the remaining orange liqueur until fluffy. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and fold into the mascarpone mixture. Crumble one-third of the amaretti biscuits (or ladyfingers) into a glass bowl and alternately layer the strawberry puree, mascarpone cream, and strawberry slices until all the strawberries are used up. Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least an hour. Garnish with the remaining strawberry slices. Tip: Depending on the season, the tiramisu can also be made with fresh raspberries or blackberries. In winter, frozen fruit can also be used.
