Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 baguette(s)
  • 1 can of tuna or 150 g cooked ham
  • 1 cup milk
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 egg white
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • n. B. Eggs, hard-boiled, tomatoes, lettuce leaves and parsley for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

With tuna or cooked ham

Halve the bread lengthwise and hollow out the insides. Collect the breadcrumbs in a bowl. Heat the milk to lukewarm and pour it over the breadcrumbs. Chop the ham or shred the tuna and fill the hollowed-out bread halves. Then mix the cheese, salt, and egg yolk with the breadcrumbs. Beat the egg whites until stiff and melt the butter. Mix both into the cheese and egg mixture. Pour the mixture over the ham or tuna and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes. The mixture should be lightly browned. Garnish with the eggs and vegetables.
