Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 slices of protein bread (toast bread)
  • 2 slices of poultry cold cuts
  • 2 slices of raw ham (light ham)
  • 8 slice(s) of tomato(s)
  • 8 slice(s) cucumber(s)
  • 8 slice(s) onion(s)
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 2 eggs
  • some light mayonnaise
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Toast the three slices of toast. Boil the eggs for about 10 minutes and then slice them. Spread a little mayonnaise on the first slice of toast. Place the two slices of cold cuts, a lettuce leaf, and four slices each of tomato, cucumber, onion, and egg on top. Season each layer with salt and pepper if desired. Spread a little mayonnaise on both sides of the second slice of toast and place it on top. Place the two slices of light ham, a lettuce leaf, and the remaining slices each of tomato, cucumber, onion, and egg on top. Season each layer with salt and pepper if desired. Finally, spread the third slice of toast with mayonnaise and place it on top. Secure the sandwich with two wooden skewers and cut it crosswise once.
