Feta Avissinia

The perfect feta avissinia recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Feta
  • 150 g Greek yogurt 10% fat
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • 2 Pinches Sweet paprika
  • 2 Pinches Mini spelled flatbreads

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees!

  1. Finely crumble the feta with a fork or with your hands. Then stir in the yogurt and the olive oil. DO NOT USE CHEAP FETA! You will notice that afterwards! 😀
  2. Divide the fat cream into 2 bowls. Sprinkle with Pul Biber and paprika powder! Sprinkle a little more with olive oil.
  3. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes!
  4. There was also mini spelled flatbreads from my KB; with rosemary!
  5. If you take half of the recipe, it will also qualify as a starter!
