Fettucine with mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g fettuccine
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 250 g mushrooms (of your choice and taste)
  • 4 tbsp white wine
  • 125 g double cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter in the oil. Add the finely chopped garlic clove and sliced ​​mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mushrooms begin to brown. Add the wine and simmer until the alcohol has evaporated. Stir in the double cream and simmer for another 1-2 minutes, until the sauce begins to thicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain the pasta, add it to the hot sauce, toss well, and serve immediately with Parmesan cheese.
